The objective of this project was to develop a mobile application that would serve as a digital replacement for traditional paper maps within the context of zoos. It was apparent that many visitors still preferred using paper maps, which presented a challenge in transitioning them to embrace digital alternatives. This challenge gained more significance with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, prompting a widespread shift towards contactless solutions. Creating a mobile app for zoos became a viable means of reducing physical contact while catering to the growing comfort levels of people attending public places.
Animal Tracks is an app that would serve as a map and a tool to help navigate the park in a more efficient way.
